I would want to cut a common crank and build an 8-rotor Wankel, then build a roadster for it based on a Zipper Lakes Modified, using a T-56 and quick-change. I envision it at 1500 hp using a centrifugal blower and intercooler. Car would weigh in at less than 2200 lbs and would be just a little bit of fun runnin' through the mountains. IFS and IRS of course. The trans should last a few miles if shifted with a little common sense.

You gotta love grandpa munster's racecar. I think that is the coolest TV car.
That's what I dream of. It's only a dream to me.

Now I don't know why it showed that pic. I'm new at this. But then again. It would need a motor like this.

In a hurry to get into a coffin? LOL!

Maybe if you have a relative croak... you could have them cremated after the viewing, and end up with the basic material for this project. :-)

It's the S/C Rambler.. Scrambler was a Jeep

I wanted to build a S/C Rambler tribute out of my '65 American, but there was no way to build it correct to what a ' '65 would have been without alot of work.. which would have needed to be a 327, custom mounts and an adapted BW transmission.. putting in a '66+ 290/ 4spd would be easy, but they wouldn't be correct for a '65

woulda been fun but it was just a rusty old 4dr

building it.. I think anyway.. I may have to build a few of them before I get 1 that is ' just right '..

Next, I want to build a sedan, and I'm going give it a rake, and rounded corners. after that. 3 window coupe I think

but this 1 will be powered with a '72 350 4 bolt, TH 350 and a junkyard S10 ZR2 rear end.. cheap and reliable

Well,if I can get the Customline pushed ahead a bit more,I ll be happy..cos when thats done, our 60 Galaxie is waiting in the corner for a build..So is the T tudor, which I might part with if the money is right..I would like to build a 32/5w,seeing as I do the bodies for other people..Just something useable,2'' chop, slight rake on the front of the body,4'' dropped axle,chromies,15x8 and 14 or 15x6,bobbed rear fenders,36 Ford style cycle fenders on the front, and a Oldsmobile,or an old Poly and four speed...Maybe after the 29 roadster,,hmmm.

love that merc! i would go with big block ford running gear but thats me. would be pimp on airbags!

if we go into bikes as stovens suggested i know a guy with a police issued 48 harley with sidecar- i want one! wouldnt modify it apart from a hot engine rebuild so it looked original. not a hot rod but i still like a cool bike next to a hot rod. oh and a 'rat rod' style harley -matt black wires and a model a tail light with some red pinstriping and a knuckle head just because of its name! Knucklehead is a ''friendly'' insult over here.
