    This is how mine is wired, below and as far as I can see, the charge circuit works just fine. Right after start up the volt meter will go to 14-14.5V+/- then after a couple of minutes drop to the 13-13.5 range. I do have a diode in the line back to the ignition so the alternator wont try to motor after shut off.
