    Unknown Early Ford dropped axle

Hi All, I have a 1934ish 3" or so dropped axle I intend to use on my Rat Rod project. On an area between the spring hole and the spindle hole there are the raised cast letters EE3XX. Since this is the area that is heated and stretched, and since the letters are not distorted, I assume that it is a factory built dropped axle, and not a stretched Ford axle. Anybody know what I might have here? Thanks in advance, Terry

There were no Ford factory dropped axles, only from aftermarket suppliers like SuperBell and some others. Post a picture of the entire axle and we might be able to ID it.
