Looking picture of Front Spreader bar MOUNTED on a '34 Ford

Anyone have a pic of the V spreader bar mounted on the front of a '34 Ford?

    If so, please post!

    THanks!

I don't have a pic of the spreader specifically. Is there something in particular you're wanting to see? I could try and snap a pic or two for ya'... Of course most of it will be hidden by the fenders etc. But maybe it would show what you're after...

I'm trying to envision what you might be after.. it's a simple tube with a flange on both ends that bolt into the frame.

Here's a picture of what 34_40 is talking about - the bar has a threaded bung in each end to accept a retainer bolt and there's the flat bar that extends back about 5" into the rail and takes smaller through bolts to keep it aligned. Those back bolts are not in place in this photo, and I ended up not being able to use this bar as I put more tilt into the grill so I boxed the rails not too long after this photo was taken. Is this what you're looking for?

How does the stock grill fit with the V bar? does it sit ontop of or behind it?

It fits behind it, protecting the bottom of the grill. Here's a picture of mine before I laid it back to fit the hood. This fit is probably laid back an inch or two at the top, but I think it is not too far from a stock profile. on the grill/splash aprons.

Bart, Roger said he wasn't able to use his after he moved his radiator back, instead of ordering one why don't you see if Roger will sell you the one he's not using? Just a thought.
