G'day all.
Thanks for the advise ,after reading all your messages i think that i should start buy getting myself a good project plan first and draw my ideas on paper before starting (and stick to it). I build a car before in my younger years and i know the budget is always the main problem in a build up, i did consider buying a ready finish project but after being to some shows and speaking to some people which they say " you not a really hot rodder until you build your own ", i think i'll still go a head with the project, i may even look and join a local rod club in the area.
ones again thank you for all your help and for sure i'll keep you guys up dated with the development.

So, there are probably only about 200 real rodders in the whole world.
As a first effort, I would recommend getting a car that is at least 70% done. You will save yourself a lot of money and time and have something that will be drivable in a short while without breaking the bank. I don't know of any first time total self builds that ever came to fruition around here. It will overwhelm you and become a garage filler complete with boxes in no time at all. Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
