    Question You know that "Thing"!

     



    What do you call that thing you put on your dash that makes it easier to see stop lights,when you have a visor, and what do you call it??

    traffic light viewer is what it's called I think you can find them on eBay. I just look at the reflection on the hood.

    traffic light viewer, or trafic light prism.

    I usually just wait for the guy behind me to honk, which is generally 1/1000 of a milisecond after the light has turned green!

    The one shown in green34ford's post is actually the OEM GM optional unit from '51-'58 and they were/are glass but carry a price tag of about $55. I have one of the Speedway versions and they are acrylic - work OK but mine does have some distortion.
