I thought i would share these with you !!!
I had a chassis bought to me a while ago and was asked if these welds were ok as they look a little uneven
I'm going to grind them out and reweld them all, I like a challenge
I'm not sure if it was Ray Charles or Stevie Wonder that was weilding the torch !!!
My personal favourite is the last pic
Its aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.

The second weld looks like he was trying to weld upward in stead of down.

i seen better welds done by a blind man . some nice cold weave weldsthat why i like my big mother of a welder turn that babby up till i blow the 50amp fuse s out of the shop .its better to turn a big welder down then try to weld wide open with small welderIrish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip

Looks like a lot of undercut there as well,and that's as bad as shallow penetration . A lot of scary stuff out there!

Some time when you go to a fair size car show, crawl under some of the home built, kinda rough cars and you will be surprised at the spit, baling wire assembly and welds holding them together. I'm a mediocre welder at best, but when I bought my little mig, I took a course at the local welding school. Six evenings over 3 weeks - a half hour of classroom, 2-1/2 hours of burning wire.Dave W
