Brent, I owed a Fiat 500 in about 1963, I think it was a 1959. Had something like 18 hp. We lived at the bottom of a valley and the thing didn't have enough power to just drive up the hill to get out, so I had to start at the top of my driveway, get a running start down it, then kept shifting until it would maybe make it to the top of the hill in low gear. Sometimes I had to turn around and try it again. It never made it up that hill with more than just me in it.
I paid $ 100 for it and bet it is worth a lot more now.

Good story, Don. Not known for much power to be sure. My little Abarth has about 70HP. WOW!!!
I have to tell you though, its been my favorite car ever. I sold it once and kicked myself every day...Tracked the guy down a few years later and bought it back from him thankfully!Brent Mills

Oh, it was a cool little car, that's for sure. I think by the time I bought it the thing had been driven hard and put away wet. Probably was putting out 4 hp by that time. All that I remember about it was the headlights being separate from the body and the cloth sunroof opened clear to the rear.
70 hp has to really move one of these.

Come on guys.............they're a natural for pizza delivery guys...........
And they come with rear window heaters standard to help keep the owner's hands warm when they have to push it in winter.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Ditto!
Sorry Jerry "Bad Habit" had a 426 block not a 392 but it generally fits the idea.______________________________________

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
