Yes Trepainer, now that im home i found the name. Twin turbo has come to mind, but is there enough room under the hood?, and yes i did think of a twin turbo hemi, (now who has that!!!), i threw that idea out thinking that that would stick out of the hood, but then again i was thinking old school hemi. Hmmmmmmmm...... Twin Turbo fuel injected Hemi, sounds interesting, think you could do that?. Might be interesting to have the exhaust coming out of the sides of the hood down to a sidepipe, but then again, don't want to ruin the sleeper idea. Got about a dozen builders in mind for various projects. i've talked to Chip and have a project in mind for him, but he's looking at a 5yr waiting list, that one in paticular is going to be an involved project anyways and expected that kind of wait. Looking into a fellow named Steve Moal at the moment on a one off idea, i need a good metal man for that one. Kenny, how busy are you and what would i expect as a finish time for a project such as i discribed?. I was hoping to purchase something close to what i want, save some bucks and just modify the car from there. But in 2 years of looking I think im going to have to bite the bill on this one to be satisfied. Still looking for a doner car though.

a twin turbo 04 hemi , use the space between the innerwheelhouse and fender for the turbos. . right now i am about 10 months out . completion dates vary , but probally in the range of 15 to 18 mo.
steel cars are there but real high , for a good body and fenders about 25.000.00
for the engine another option how about a povtin blower( which mounts off the front of the block in line with the crank ) on a 426 hemi, with a custom intake hat !! use a little flavor of the 60s and alot of now .
you have a project with chip sceduled? man he is the other shop owner i really respect , and troy , steve moal has some nice work also .yes i drove ,the trailer didnot drive it's self

Chip and i are still in the nogotiation stage, nothing has been schdualed as of yet, Im just in the process of freeing up the cash for some of these projects. Im looking at doing one a year, but some i have to get started on right away in order to meet my schdualed build times, some of them are not for me but for some friends that want a car but don't know how to go about doing them. I have to fly out on buisness for about 2 weeks, i was hoping to catch the barret-jackson in palm beach on march 18th, but i don't think i'll make it back by then. Theres a car i want to go see in vegas when i get back. Im hoping to free up some time to get some of these project on the go at that time. But buisness comes first, got to pay for the toys somehow.

Mickey Thompsons Thunderbolt. I don't think i'll get it becouse the guy is asking way to much, but you never how desperate a guy can be, especially when your there with cash in hand. Besides any reason that would take me to Vegas can't be all bad, i guess i'll make the best of it

I've noticed that clone cars are gaining in popularity. Years ago i would be careful with what i do to my cars as i would get burnt on resale, as i would get bored easy and changed cars about every 6 months. The market has really opened up as people seem to be leaning towards the "cool ride" idea rather then matching #. Gives me more confidence that i can explore more radical ideas and won't feel like im stuck with it if i get bored and want to try something else. Back years ago i would have to sell to afford the next project. Now that im older and more finacially secure i can keep them, just need more storage space, and i can also build them better, stronger...............WE NOW HAVE THE CAPABILITYS OF MAKING THE FIRST 6 MILLION DOLLAR ROD!!!!
Oh and thanks on the T-bolt, im not holding my breath on that one, by the way i here that Barrett-Jackson palm beach has made a deal with GM and is letting some of their concept cars go. Some there and some at scottsdale in 2005. They mentioned it on Car Crazy with the Jackson interview. First time they've done this.

Thats why i wanted to attend. I would think that they are going to let some unimportant teaser cars go there, but save some of the more significant concept cars go at Scottsdale. I would also think that they would'nt let the important ones go such as the Corvette, Camero, etc.,or any early Harley Earl cars. They most likely will get rid of the concepts that never made it into production, also the ones that are not road legal. Thats my guess anyways, i did e-mail them for some info on whats going to be available, they have yet to get back to me.

Hello,
My first time here. Cool site. I'm looking for sites that have pictures of car shows from around the country. I did notice that the wrong name was connected to the Ridler 2004 Winner. The correct name is Al and Leora Brockly from Lansing Il. I was fortunate enough to be on their "team". It truly is a great car. Thank you.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
