Watch out for those Fox 5.0's in Arizona, Ford's cooling system is entirely inadequate for that car.

If you got the z/28, you would need to replace the 305 TBI with a carb'd 350 crate motor to get any at all respect on the road. I myself would buy the muscle car because I would not want a mid 80's Chevy screw up ( one of the few ), Find yourself a 1960's Z/28 if u want a Camero. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

If you cant see it, its a 1980 Trans Am Turbo. It has 73k miles and he wants $4600. The paint seems good and it has t-tops which is a big ass plus.

Blowngoat's right, the turbo is a 301 V8, Still pretty quick with the turbo, probably run mid 14's the way it is, maby a little quicker. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Really a 350 would be a faster car though, with a turbo, the exzaust is restricted to turn the turbo and gain Hp, but with a 350 it's got all the go but, without the flashy turbo and the sound of the turbine. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

You mean you dont like the swooosh from the BOV?
This car seems like a pretty good deal but I doubt it would last until my parents say I could officially get another car (if they do). There are plenty of 350 Trans Ams though so I shouldnt have a problem finding another one. Actually I cut an ad for one out of the paper today for $5500 with the 350.

It's probably a good thing to stay away from that turbo because, they were more of a show car than a performance car, that's where the 350's come into play. The turbo birds are rare now and are collectable. You don't know what you've got til it's gone
