After trudging around the local pick a part, I saw a couple of nice LED ones on a couple of BMW's and VW coupes not the beetles. Cadlillacs have some nice ones too but are hard to find in my neck of the woods.

I got mine at a boneyard off a small blazer or a explorer. Anyway I mounted to a block a wood and scrweed to the window frame. $5.

The Astro and Safari vans have an LED third brake on the roof. I have recently seen one in the back window of a 55 chev inside on the rear window deck it looked good. Sorry didn't have a camera at the time. He said it was a simple install.

I got a nice billet license plate holder with an LED 3rd brake light above the plate.

Sound simple. Simple is good in my humble opinion.
