And all Kyle did was pile into another car and go stomping off to pout for awhile - poor baby.
Let's see if Carl can turn the Friday night warmup into a Sprint Cup winDave W

Well, he's getting better... Last year he would have blown up on camera over something neither he or the other driver had any control over.... Got a fast car, a guy out of nowhere blows a tire and takes you out???? I'd have needed some time in the hauler, too!!!!!!!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I'm Sitting here watching the race as we speak, Dave.
The speedway is ten miles WNW from our house. Ordinarily we can hear the cars pretty well when a race is going on but not this time because the wind is roaring out if the South. Gusts are slapping the cars around a lot but that makes for interesting racing.
My old recliner is comfortable and Mama has allowed me to have a bottle of adult beverage while I watch.
Another thing contributing to my happy condition is the fact that the pre-race ceremonies had a military band playing the National Anthem and I didn't have to endure some howling jackass trying to make it sound like the blues.
Or a spiritual.
Or something like the way that scrawny chick stunk up the place at the Super Bowl.
All is good.
Now if only my man Jeff Burton could get into the lead somehow ........

Seven of the top 10 were Fords! I am liking that! Felt sorry for "Smoke" it was looking like He was going to have a good finish, running out of gas sucked. And poor Dale Jr. 100 races without a win, that's sad.

I missed the green up to about 150 left then between ~120 to go and the broadcast sign off, I don't have a clue as to what happened. That recliner just works sooooo well. We just got home from an 11 hour, 640 mile tour through the mountains of Virginia and Penna. I'll watch the rerun later this week on Speed. But 5 out of the first 10 were Ford powerDave W

This was the first race where the Fords have really been competative. Kenseth's car was great from the beginning.
Now if Biffle could just overcome those two bad races he had and get into the top 10.

Before the big doze off came, looked like Biff was running really strong, too..... Have to punch up NASCAR later and see where everybody came out. But anyway, it sure as heck doesn't look like this season is going to be a case of which Chevy wins this week....Toyota's are Strong, Ford is back, and even the Dodge's show a glimmer of hope!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Yeah,,started on seven, dropped a bit, came back..all good, glad to see a Ford under him..he probably feels at home,now..Looking forward to the next road type circuit..
I would like to see one of our Kiwi rising stars up there in NASCAR...Shane van Gisbergen is only early 20s,but is doing alright in the local V8 series,,in fact I think he is doing pretty darn well..Would like to see someone take him up there and throw him in...Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???

A "skip" = a dumpster.... but he says it's proper english??? Oh.. Okay. Most of us can see the dating site pun, "matching" with an arsonist.. But a "SKIP? How is that a box? It must all be...
