I also hope that you realize that IF it's a 4x4 with a stick tranny, that a slushbox tranny will not hook up to the transfer case of it either.. meaning Automatic and Standard tranys will not interchange with each other.. 4:56's in that will getcha about a 70mph top end too.. BUT, it's great for pullin' other's out of the mud...
Thank's for the info streets. Is a "Granny Tranny" a trans that has low gear ratio's? I would like to keep the stock trans ratio's and diff ratio's. I did realize that the truck woulden't be very echonomical though but, I won't be driving it often. I also want to keep the 4spd muncie that it has cause, I don't like auto's much because, I like to shift and double clutch, pulling the lever into D in a truck, just ain't me. My grandfather did say the top speed was about 70 MPH. He also said there wasn't a place it coulden't go. I was figuring about 2 MPG in low, guess that's a good thing you say 6
