I like velocity. But I like the ability to change it from one to the other from time to time, I don't see that option on other sites.

I like Velocity because it's dark background is easy on the eyes, but I think it would be easier to read if it didn't have the background texture.

I guess, I'm "too old" to change, at 63.

I don't find any of the three formats easy to use, or read.

I find myself just not reading CHR anymore. It used to be my first place to check-in, when I had a free moment. It feels like I have lost a close friend.

Brent, I'm sorry.......I'm sure the new changes were intended to help out, or improve the system.

Brent, with the "NEW" site I like the "CHR" style. With that said I also liked the "OLD" site as well as I guess as some have alluded to, it was comfortable to use.

I do hope that some of our members that have had a hard time with the site will try again to use it, as with anything else, change takes some getting use to.

Of the three, I like the CHR style best. I find Velocity too dark with too much contrast, Default has too little. It is easier to see which folders have new posts with the white "bubble".....the Default icons are much harder to read. It has taken a while to get used to the new format and, while I would prefer the old site, I realize that it is gone and I might as well get used to the newer version. Like Bat, I'm 70 and would have preferred not to change, but I like this site too much not to adapt.
One interesting thing is that when I accessed the site from IE i always got the default version whereas with Firefox I got the CHR version. Now I know why. It's great to have a choice.

I can't for the life of me remember what the old format looked like. I have the blissful memory of a gold fish.

For a reminder, go to Brent's Club Cobra, it still uses the old format.

So far, I like CHR the most! BUT, that sidebar on the left doesn't do much for me. I could live without that. Matter of fact, I didn't see anything wrong with the old CHR. But that's only my opinion. Thanks for asking. Perley

    Perley,
Close the sidebar by left clicking the << symbol at the top left. Once closed you can bring it back by hitting the >> symbol. Easy as pie.

Not a problem. I fought that box for a while, then discovered the control for it and it's not been back since!!!
