I bought the Black one not the Grey one!
Well I finally got a new project that I would like to get to drive on a more regular basis. Finally showed up on Thursday as was having some issues with the guy bringing it up here.Purchased at the LA Roadster show, after going between a couple of other sedans. Is a 29 and a driver but definitely has some issues which I will take care of along the way.The body is what impressed me most as it is very straight and rust free.I know that there are some educated folks here that can help me out so am looking forward to picking folks brains.Got a chance to line it up with this C130 today after our local 4th parade. Cheers Roger

Would like to use it more as a daily driver. Some of the welding is a little poor and the rear suspension setup has a lot to be desired. Not sure yet if i will chop it but that is a possibility.Plan on driving it for the time being and seeing what it needs.Did a good once over this weekend and the wiring and several other issues need some definite work, which I will address as time permits.Has no real guages and turn signals etc which bothers me but thought it safe to drive short distances so that I could get a feel for it.Must say it did bring a smile to my face as it is a bare bones Hot Rod which is what I wanted so that I could personalize to my taste and style.

From what I can see in the one picture they did use some good components on it. Should make you a good start to make it your own.

Roger, saw it last night on Loris facebook page...It looks good, you look comfortable in it,,it needs an inch or three out of its roof,,,but dont let Hugh near it if he comes up..he might take a bit more..Micah 6:8

I too like it unchopped though it does need "something" but not sure what. I'm partial to the '32 style grille shell which might have the effect of looking a little longer in the front.

Roger,
Love the sedan, looks like you have a great start and it's good you can drive while you iron things out. Let's have some more pics and more details.

I'm not sure if it's just the angle of the photo but it does appear to squat a little in the rear end instead of the traditional hotrod rake to the front. Maybe that's something to check out unless you prefer it that way. I usually prefer full-fendered cars but these fender-less sedans look pretty cool! Yes that is what it needs, its ass needs a new napkin and a wipe to raise it up to get that rake right. I personally love the grille and the roof height. Even the colour scheme appeals so enjoy your new toy Roger.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Thanks for all the responses, have just come back from getting it titled in my name and boy does CA ream you on that one.Figured it would be a couple of hundred at the most, well $700+ later it is in my name.Anyway now can look forward to the future and getting where I want it.The rear does need to come up and after looking under there I will possibly put coilovers as it needs some modification due to the driveshaft hitting the floor and am not sold on the mono spring setup.Would like to get some turn signals going on the front, any ideas. Also need to figure out what to do for a speedometer. Will take a few pics later today and post so that you can see what i am dealing with.thanks Roger

Roger, some of the guys down here are using Harley turn signals,,dont ask me what model/year..cant help there. Personal choice I guess,as they are an unobtrusive unit from what I have seen..Good luck with ya mods..Sounds like Ca have a similar system to us,,,ream till ya squeal.. They probably dont like those horrible MODIFIED gas guzzling monsters that put regular people off their lattes..Micah 6:8

Roger who needs a speedo when you just tag along with the speed everybody else is doing?LOL. Robin took the words right out of my mouth on the indicators too. Put a big rev counter in and mark the glass were 30 mph is etc. thats what we did when me and my mate built a rally car .I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.
