Going to the 'Shades of the Past' show
It's almost time to head up to Pigeon Forge for the 'Shades of the Past' show. My wonderful wife, Terry, our spoiled rotten Sheltie dog, Tillie and I are leaving tomorrow for the beautiful mountains of Tennessee. We’ve rented a nice chalet with a gorgeous view from the deck and it’s only a couple of miles from the event. We’re going to spend 4 days in PF then spend a couple in Chattanooga visiting my grandmother to celebrate her 94th birthday on 9/15. I’m really looking forward to this trip!!! Will see you guys in about a week.

will do Richard, it usually wall to wall car heaven.
Mike if you have never been or anyone else that's going remember the street called teaster, lane it's your friend. it will get you off the strip and you can cut into almost any street going back to parkway. it runs parallel to parkway and is better than sitting in traffic for hours and not moving.

34, Thanks for the tip but I'm originally from Chattanooga, been going to the Shades and the Grand Run for many years, also remember when it was held in Gatlinburg. Moving to Florida doesn't stop us from enjoying a little piece of Tenn heaven when we get the opportunity.
I just got home from work, it's getting late, gotta hit the road soon, will bring lots of pics when I return.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
