Why Kurt has it made now that...........
.......he lives near Vegas! My buddy Randy took this vid.
Whether you favor the Barrett-Jackson auction, or some of the cars that participate, this video might be interesting. Besides a decent variety of style of cars, what I think is interesting is the police blocking all other traffic on the Strip so that a parade of enthusiast cars can have a straight shot from the north to the south. Even though it's a weekday afternoon, that's pretty good support of the car hobby.

The great thing about that ride, we could go down the strip and not be hassled by the guys trying to give out their advertisements for the "live entertainment" that was available there.
I loved that burnt orange Chevy pick-up and that red touring T was pleasant to my eye at least.

Busy car nut weekend. The Henderson Super Run is a two day show in the old part of Henderson, they close down Water St. and display the cars along the curbs. Probably the biggest car enthusiast show in Vegas. As a kickoff, they hold a smaller event on Thursday at a fairly new shopping mall that was built to evoke the style of an old mainstreet storefront environ.

No Robin, I'm a different nut............
vegaslugnut is my buddy Randy Connell, he lives down there full time and participates in a lot of car gatherings around the SW as you might be able to tell from his Fotki site. The list of pic folders down the left side of the page is pretty extensive. He took almost all of those pictures himself, let's just say he's passionate about this stuff. Next time you talk to Jim ask him about Randy, they're acquainted.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
