I would say the '40 chevy panel truck. (Streets notice I typed '40 not 40') HEHEHE. We would go to rod runs 3 to 4 weeks out of the month all summer long. Then in the fall I would tear it down and do more "stuff" to it. By spring I would have it put back together in time for the first event of the spring and then it was back to weekend rod runs.
I would have to say a close second would be the one I'm working on now 70 Z-28. I'm in no hurry this time. Just work on it when I feel like it. That's what seperates a hobby from a job.
I have some fond memories of the 52 Plymouth I and my brother chopped up when we were kids. We lived on the farm then I was around 11 or 12. We got it from a junk yard, no title, just fer drivin' around the yard and out in the field. Purdy' kewl stuff fer a 12 yr. old It all came to an end one day when I wus toolin' around drivin' down the path out in the field, went through a mud puddle. I had the ol' 6 banger wound up and when I hit dry dirt on the other side of the puddle. Kobooooom Lights out. We pulled it back in the grove. THE END.

The 36 5 window Ford coupe I had from 64 to 72. It had a 265 block, 57 Vette 2-4"s, Vette Dual point dist, Mallory coil, Isky 30-30 cam, reworked heads, 39 box with Zephyr gears, and a 4.41 geared 40 Pickup rearend. I cut my teeth on that car and it was just a lot of fun to drive. Sure wish I still had it.

the most FUN
was with a '68 Dodge Dart. It had a 273, four barrel, four speed, with Lockheed disc brakes I scrounged from a Barracuda.
Purchase price...$50. Repairs...$400. Performance...$850.
Cheapest car I ever had, always reliable, always fast...damn I miss that car...Ensure that the path of least resistance is not you...

Most enjoyed
Technically, i have no idea what it falls under, but the car I most enjoyed? When I was 12ish, my father taught me to drive 5speed on his 82AMC SX4. The only car ive ever light up all 4 tires on then went off roading the next day in. Unfortuantly he tore 2nd gear out of it, and the trannies are hard to find, but that was a nice car to learn on.Right engine, Wrong Wheels

Would have to say my 41 Ford pickup. The first engine was a built 53 merc flathead with open driveshafts mounted along both side of the cab for exhaust pipes.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
