It's free to a person in need
I was lucky at the recent NSRA Nats in Tampa, I won a $150 gift certificate from one of the event sponsors. I just got off the phone with them trying to find something for my project or one of our daily drivers, unfortunately we came up short. I asked Kim if it would be OK to pass the certificate along to one of my forum brothers and she said YES.
The company is Eaton Detroit Spring, Inc. They offer coil and leaf springs, both OEM applications and custom 'to your specs', related attaching hardware such as shackles, bushings, hangers, etc. They have a Street Rod section too. They also offer QA1 coil overs & springs. Use the link above to see what they offer.
If anyone can REALLY use this certificate to help them along with their project, send me a PM telling me what you're working on and it would be nice to post some pics so we all can see where it's being used. I want this to go to someone that really needs it, not someone just looking for something free.
BTW, the expiration date is only 8 weeks away, Dec 31, 2011.

What a nice gesture, Mike! I have Eaton springs in my '63 Nova - quality company.
I'm sure you'll find someone on the site who is deserving of this gift!
Good on ya!

Thanks to all for the very nice words but I can't believe it's hard to give away $150 worth of free car parts. I haven't received a single PM requesting any info regarding the Eaton gift certicate.

I have good news, the certificate is not going to be wasted, it's going to be put to good use and help someone get some parts they need. All I ask is, please 'pay it forward', help the next guy!!!

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
