Yes it is. I've been trying to spend my money more wisely. I'd rather have stainless hood hinges since they don't make them anymore than the billet arm rests. I happened to find a guy in North Dakota that has some new in a box along with new head light trim rings, and head light buckets. I bought them all and that was an expense I wasn't ready for.
If I remember correctly they are Ridler 695 Chrome wheels.Ryan

Once again a big gap in progress, but there finally is some positive results to report. Back in March I knew my friend Steve was going to be gone to Florida for spring break. I decided that would be the best time to re sand all my boo boos and get my stuff ready to re spray.
Steve had been battling blood pressure issues and my stuff had still been in his paint booth since October. He finally got his meds and such situated and began feeling much better. One day I happened to stop by his place after work and I found my hood on our family car I bought from him. I thought I wore out my welcome but he just wanted to get some e body mopar stuff painted. It was windy that day and the strap was not tight on it. I'm glad I decided to stop by. I put the hood inside in his cold storage area. The next day we had 50mph winds, that hood would have been screwed.
I ran out of time to get them sprayed but when Steve got back he was rip roaring ready to go so he actually shot them for me. I was cool with it.Ryan

We wet sanded these starting with 1k, up to 1500, then to 2k, then 3k, and Steve buffed them. He wants me to bring the car back in May to re spray the rest but IDK. He has been giving me a lot of crap about my poor boy ways for a while on this paint since he uses pro grade everything. After he buffed this stuff he was mind blown. He kept saying no way this stuff should look this good. He started calling it the Chris Kraft paint job because of the flake!Ryan

I also have been working on wiring and I bought more electrical supplies to try and wrap that up. Sunday 4/28 is the Iowa Street Rod Association Spring Fling car show and I'd like to get the car there for it. Worst case I'll trailer it there and roll it off in the grass. Hopefully that won't be needed.
Look at that shine from that cheap clear. This is Keystones shop line equivalent.Ryan

It looks really nice. Very nice results are possible with lower cost materials if you put the time in.

A while back I ordered a sealed bulkhead connector for the firewall. I finally cut a hole and I stalled it this afternoon. I was going to nut and bolt it in place but I might rivet it in place.Ryan

Wiring can be a pain. My problem is I get in a groove and have a plan and then get sidelined to another project and when I come back I forget what the heck my plan was.
A man was watching his wife as she prepared to fry sausages in a pan. He noticed that before placing the sausages in the pan, she always cut off both ends, threw them away, and cooked only the middle...
