He does several different deals for various vehicles--from the hand held Dialbo thingies, re writing chips in earlier Ford ecm, to this latest system which he can get a small unit that he can do updates or mods to vehicles all over--I don't know where this car will go, but its probably outta state, and it will get a vin# type of thing that has the tune locked into it so not only can he and the car owner send stuff back and forth, his tune is protected from someone else coping it---(that has happened before--someone sent up a supercharged Mustang for a dyno tune and within 2 weeks they were selling tunes on the net)
I'll find out the software company name Monday and let you know---

Jerry, does HP Tuners or EFI Live ring any bells? A lot of the LSx crowd making big numbers like the HP Tuners software.

Yes--I know that he has used HP Tuners and that system takes an individual license for EACH tune (ECM)
I've heard lots of different companies names tossed around by various people but if it wasn't Holley. Delco, Autolite,Champion,AC I didn't pay a lot of attention--
this most recent one allows him some access to the fuel pump system (demand, no return, etc) that wasn't possible with say HP Tuners and this particular car has been at the front of the pack with the developing of a system(line sizes, pump capacity, etc) tank Modules--this engine did something over 1000hp on engine dyno, however that was with cooling and fuel supply for a dyno room, not a vehicle--At the level of output at the rear wheels in the car came many small details --under hood temps-the aircleaner is pointed backwards just above the left side header and the bottom of the filter gets hot while the top side stays cool--the supercharger picks up this heat in addition to adding to the heat under compression(ran 13.6 # boost) altho it then goes thru an intercooler, the added heat picked up with the intake does hurt.It was necessary to redo wiring to the tank/pump area because 3 pumps of course take 3x as many amps---
