The downside to any service supplier not in your area is shipping, both cost and potential damage. I was lucky that we had a trip planned to the Phoenix area that coincided with my re-coat, which saved the cost and ensured safe travels. Packing to prevent rubs & impacts is very important, as is insurance for the trip if it's an option.
