my gals turn (for a car)
one of my car buddies has a 53 buick special we might pick up for my sweetie.
everything is there . and it comes with 2 straight 8 engines.
one is rebuilt and ready to install the other needs a build.
i will post pics soon.
she is all kinds of excited.
and i dont blame her
they are really neat looking cars.a hot rod is whatever i decide it is.

Yep, Billy, even though the '53's were still in training bra's it'll be a cool ride for the lady. Here's the fully developed '54, w/Dagmar's

Those cars not only had a nice ride but also had pretty good power as well. That should be a very enjoyable and fun car to drive.

They actualy had a back seat...Unlike todays cars. We'd go on trips four in the back and mom&dad up frontCharlie

well
we pulled the trigger and she has many hours of work ahead of her.
we will farm out the engine install but there is plenty of other stuff to do.
$750 is what we settled on.
