Transporter Needed
Transporting a car to Pueblo, CO from Florida for the NSRA Nationals in June 2012, looking for a reliable transporter who can arrive in PUEBLO on a specific day and then pick up the car again in PUEBLO on a specific day... Since we will be flying in and out, no one will be there to meet the car if they are early or late.... thanks!

In another thread, Bill S (mrmustang) recommended, random order Intercity auto transport, passport auto transport, or Horseless Carriage for enclosed carriers; and for open trailer DAS auto transport. Not sure about your special requirement for guaranteed delivery on a specific date - you'd almost have to have some arrangement for local delivery/storage as the truck's not going to sit around waiting for your flight to arrive, and what if you're late? This time of year weather delays can wreak havoc with flight schedules!!
I gotta agree with Don. Either drive the car, or if that's not a possibility then leave it at home, fly and rent a car for local transport. You've gotta be talking $2000 to $3000 in transport and special handling.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Originally did plan on driving it there, but, as I am still working, could not afford to take the extra 6 days of travel time (3 days there, 3 back) off. I wanted to be able to enjoy the event in an appropriate car, so, looking at the cost transport ($2750 round trip plus air fare $2200) verse's what the lost days of work ($2800) plus gas & wear/tear on the car ($1700), it was only $450 more expensive and allowed my family & I not to have to sit in a car for 7 to 8 hours a day straight, rushing to get to the next stop... Once in Pueblo, have multiple, nice 4 to 5 hour round trip site-seeing routes planned (recommended from StreetScene Mag), so we will definitely get some nice, leisurely driving time in... petrified forest, Royal Gorge, etc...
