Sharper quicker steering
I drove my roadster pickup for the first time today and the steering kinda sucks. It's smooth and easy but it doesn't turn the wheels sharp enough and there are too many turns lock to lock. I used that cross steering rack and pinion with flat steering arms on early Chevy spindles. I'm thinking maybe I can use a longer bolt and bolt the rod from the rack on with the tierod to improve it. Has anyone done this or have any other suggestions?
Thanks Tom

Just make sure it can't bind against each other or any thing else in compression & rebound and lock to lock.

Everything works good except for a persistent oil leak in the timing chain cover area.
