    Norm Grabowski passed away

This was posted this morning on Norm's Facebook page:

"many of you are aware that Norm Grabowski has been quite ill this past year. It's with deep sorrow that I ask you to pray for his family for he passed away around 5 this morning. As our sorrow fades my family will remember our beloved Norm with a smile, and know how blessed we are for having him in our lives"

I'm sorry to hear of his passing. He seemed to be a great guy, enjoying small pleasures, like saying his old truck was a "Henway", hoping that someone would ask, "What's a Henway?", so he could answer, "Oh, two to three pounds dressed out for cooking" which fit well with his adopted Lead Hill, Arkansas surroundings.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

    Another iconic figure gone...............adio Normiepoo.

Had the pleasure of lunching with him in Pleasanton 20 some years ago...............laughed my butt off. He was a character of the first order.

This is upsetting for me. I'll miss seeing Norm at our local event. He was such a cut up. I will certainly miss him and his creations.
