Few Cars From Last Nights' Cruise In

Probably the last cruise in of the season. Not many attended. Cool, overcast weather and a big football day.

This '31 is nice - original steel fenders too. The owner, in his mid 70s, will talk to you all day.

    Unique hinge

Fabricated door sill. The rubber is a serpentine belt. This car has a lot of nice detail. He has two pictures of other cars he's building.

Thanks for posting and in total agreement with you on the "31 Ford , absolutely beautiful. As mentioned, all the top cars came out to play by looking at the photos. The "55 Convert look simple amazing too.

The '31 sure does have some innovative features! I was glad to see that detail shot of the hood support, as I was really scratching my head about how it was done looking at the first shots. I like the serpentine belt inlays on the door thresholds, too. The guy must be a machinist with a pretty good shop to have that kind of metalwork! I'd love to see his "other" cars, too!

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
