Nope, it's coming up - - - - probably remove the lowering blocks and, if the wiffy will loan me some $$$$$ then I'll put some rubber on the rims that has some sidewall. Don't think I'll mess with the dropped spindles tho but I'm gonna have quite a bit of rake if I do that. There's plenty of fender well and the fronts may handle 16" like the rear is - - - ?????????? have to do some figgerin' on that one tho?????

Had a quiet chuckle to myself when I saw this...and I remembered how when Jim-Bob departed on the back of a truck, and you said that you doubted you'd ever get another 'real' car.
I reminded you that hot-rodding's like malaria; once you've got the disease you're never free of it.

Seems like I was right huh?

Didja start shaking and breaking into cold sweats at the realisation you didn't have a 'real' car to play with?

Somehow I missed this thread when it started, but then, I don't get email notices of new posts on subscribed threads anymore either.

Anyhoo, I like this rig! That cam almost sounds like one of those Thumper cams. I'm into lower so the stance suits me fine, but you know how it rides. I'd do the tire thing first before chucking the blocks just to sneak up on it. For my tastes some body color wheels and dog dish caps would be just enough..............the full on sleeper look except for stance.

As for the age deal, Ken has the right plan, think young. Of course our hardware betrays us, but don't go down without a fight. On another board there's a thread comparing arthritis ails among others, and the participants are many. We've become our grandparents!

I like your thinking on the wheels, Bob, maybe even go with a +1 or +2 in wheel size & width, sorta like this one except with body color steelies & dog dish

Buddy of mine in Mass. is supposed to be sending me some Furd Dawg Dishes and he said they would double for cat dishes if needed. I'll definitely put more rubber on before and suspension wrenching.

Randle, that's a little too extreme, even for this "Rebel" !

My kind of thinking, Bob, I can really relate to quick, easiest, cheap, cheating and O.F.s Now if I can just remember to do that when the time comes.
