1967 Chevy Impala SS Build Thread
Hey guys I decided to post a Build-Thread of my 67 Chevy.. Now I can't find any area where you can specifically do this so if im in the wrong area move it please, Or possibly open a Car Build Thread area? Anyway I will get down to Business. Note: This car was de-badged by the previous owner for unknown reasons however it is a real SS Impala the Interior was also made into a Basic Hard-top Fastback Impala, Unknown reasons, Was told by owner.
Story: When I was 17 me and my dad took the old chevy up to Red run exhaust, I wasn't much of a car guy at the time and it was still his, We stood there and watched them install the exhaust for over 5 hours this was the first time I ever was involved in anything car related, When that thing fired up I fell in love right away and almost instantly after that, The car was most definately mine.. He barely drove it and never had time to do anything to it.. next thing i knew it was all mine. I've been slowly converting it back to a SS Ever-Since mostly too enjoyable to drive the car but currently under a face-lift.. It will be back together soon

I love the big Chevys of that era and yours looks really nice. Even with the SS badging it still has that sleeper look to it. The Cragars look so right on there!Nick

Thanks guys!!!! and actually my car is lighter than most chevies of the day.. I had it on the weight scale not too long ago and it was roughly 3,780 Pounds... Not bad for a 67 Chevy Impala SS Fastback =D

Very cool! My first car was a 67 Impala that I inherited from my mom. I always wanted to get another one; IMO that this was the best looking year of all the 60s big Chevys. Yours looks to be in great shape and I like your direction.
