innovative spring replacement anyone?
My 73 charger needs a spring for the hideaway headlights.
I lack the geometric vocabulary to accurately describe the spring..
Inasmuch as I recently confused a polygon with a polyhedron ( the horror )
Anyway, it's not the typical long coil spring, but more what you would see in a thermostat. ( without th bi - metallic construction; if you know what I mean )
Be that as it may, none of my parts catalogs show the spring ( it acts as a counterbalance.
Any suggestions? I know I've seen this type of spring in gizmos before, but can't remember. Just need one to rob out of something..
