    innovative spring replacement anyone?

My 73 charger needs a spring for the hideaway headlights.

I lack the geometric vocabulary to accurately describe the spring..

Inasmuch as I recently confused a polygon with a polyhedron ( the horror )

Anyway, it's not the typical long coil spring, but more what you would see in a thermostat. ( without th bi - metallic construction; if you know what I mean )
Be that as it may, none of my parts catalogs show the spring ( it acts as a counterbalance.

Any suggestions? I know I've seen this type of spring in gizmos before, but can't remember. Just need one to rob out of something.

The link works for me. Hm. You can Google Stephens Performance, and it will show their website. Or you could call them.
