3M Striping Tape
Hi everyone,
Here's a couple of pics of my 28 with the name on it and also the panel stripes in gold that I did. The local pinstripe guys wanted around $600 to pinstripe it so I did it myself for less than $35 using 3M scotchcal striping tape and 1" gold letters from Hobby Lobby which I outlined with a black permanent magic marker. A nice coat of wax over everything and it's perfect. This isn't everyone's cup of tea but I like the effect it creates. Not overwhelming, just subtle with the outlined panels. Since I live in Texas, the name Chupacabra just came to me. For those who don't know about this creature, here's a discription I got off the internet.
The most common description of the chupacabra is a reptile-like creature, appearing to have leathery or scaly skin and sharp spines or quills running down its back. This form stands approximately 3 to 4 feet high, and stands and hops in a similar fashion to a kangaroo. In at least one sighting, the creature was reported to hop 20 feet. This variety is said to have a dog or panther-like nose and face, a forked tongue, and large fangs. It is said to hiss and screech when alarmed, as well as leave behind a sulfuric stench. When it screeches, some reports assert that the chupacabras' eyes glow an unusual red which gives the witnesses nausea.
Have a great day and keep the shiny side up,
Milner

Looks great! I used to do a TON of the vinyl striping. The corners you did look very nice. I found the trick to doing those was to tape a can lid with the right radius in place and lay the tape down around it. Laying it down, instead of stretching it around the corner, kept it from lifting as it was trying to go back to it's natural state.
Thanks for posting, brought back a lot of memories! I couldn't tell you how many flame layouts I did with that stuff.

If your wife has a friend that annoys you don't tell your wife to stop being friends with her. Just casually mention how pretty she is... .
