Best Hotrod Ya Ever Saw?
About 15 years ago, I met a guy who had taken a bunch of tractor parts and made himself a custom car. The thing looked a lot like a cross between a mid to late 60's Vette and a F117 Stealth fighter. The doors opened up like a delorian. Considering that it was 15 years ago, I think it was the probably the coolest hot rod I ever saw. It was definitely the most unique.
How 'bout you guys, whats the best/coolest hot rod ya ever saw?Sometimes NOW are the "good old days"...

This one is purdy' close to the top of my list. If yer a geezer you may remeber this one from the 70's. This pic. was taken at the (I think) 1976 Street Rod Nats. ? I saw an article on it not long after. I still remember the editor after riding in it saying. We were going down the road @ approx. 80 M.P.H. He hit the gas and 2 things happened.....(1) a fine mist of oil hit the windshield {note the valve covers directly in front of the windshield and..(2)The rear tires went up in smoke. Why I remeber that, but can't rmember what I had for dinner tonight ..... I dunno.
I also dunno how he got by with that windshield obstruction on the street. The 70's were a differnet time I rekon.Last edited by pro70z28; 04-01-2004 at 09:03 PM.

Now thats my definition of a low rider! Low visibility that is....I'd have to agree with you that it's amazing how he got by with that much of an obstruction in front of the windshield. Definitely looks cool though!!Sometimes NOW are the "good old days"...

I like this not because of what it is or any thing like that but its just cool, the trailer is identical to the car all the way down to the head and tail lights
only shorter, and with less wheels

My all time favorite...
To me the ultimate Hot Rod was the California Kid... This car was one of the first that I remember that got my blood pumping as a boy... ZZ Top's Eliminator re-kindled that spark when I was in High School... These 2 cars would have to be my top picks for coolest Hot Rod...
