    Spring Fever What's everybody doin???????

Well......... Since there is no way I will be DRIVING anywhere with my project this year I will have to drive n' race vicariously through CHR carz n' trucks.
    Soooo, my questions are......
What will you be cruisin' and or racin' in this summer?
If yer cruisin' ... where N' how far?
If your racin' ... where N' how Fast.?
And is this your first year out in this vehicle or iz' it yer' ol' reliable?
If it's yer' ol' reliable did you make any improvements over the winter?

It's gettin' nice out and I could use a HOT ROD FIX.
I thank you..... and everybody who's stuck in their shop this year thanks you.

I had a geezer moment and forgot to select a forum before I started this thread. so, it defaulted to Hot Rod Talk instead of Rod Rod Lounge. If it can be moved that would be good, if not ooooh well.

If it will stop snowing maybe I can get aroud to cruising again in my 37 chevy truck. Take it out to syarcuse nationals, Pa, Vt, and mainly around central NY. Improvements this winter new intake manifold, new carb, new tires, installed origional heater, new raidator.
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

I've given that consideration. With a couple inches of concrete underneath so the moles don't mess it up. I can see a war brewin' B twixt' myself and the moles.
It's gonna be Caddyshack revisited around here this summer

Only event i REALLY want to make is the hotrod power tour everything else is bonus if i could find the time. Weather today 13c / 58f, should be pulling out the rod sometime in the next 2wks(hopefully). Roads are still covered with alot of gravel, so as soon as they clean some of it up, i'll be on the road again.

I'm really hoping to get some track time this year. Any time would be welcome. Everything is new this year so times are unpredictable at this point.

I'll go as a spectator to Morris Cruise Night once a month throughout the summer. Peotone Car show @ the fairgrounds, Cruise Night @ the Polk-A-Dot Drive in on Rt. 66., The Super Chevy Show at Rt. 66 Raceway and the Equistar car show, last outdoor show of the season.

I have a pretty full summer ahead in my '66 fury III since my '48 won't be done untill Dec probably. Our car club had it's first cruise-in last friday night so the season is off and running. We have a 300 mile spring cruise down through Arkansas the 17th with 70 cars signed up so far. A show every weekend here in Missouri all summer with a fall cruise to end the season. Our club has our local show coming up the 12th of June that usually has 200 or 300 cars entered. There are also about ten members so far going to make the Power Tour but I'm not sure if work is going to allow me to go. It would be alot of fun thats for sure, I am glad that the season is finally here, it's been a long winter.

Yea, I always thought it would be nice to have a daily driver instead of an off the lot family car. Maybe by the time the wife's monte is ready to trade I can build 1. But first things first....... "Z".
Welll......actually..........first thing is to get some of the jobs in the sign shop done. Not much fun....but nessesary if I want to play.
