Beach Hop 2014.. Whangamata.... New Zealand..
Well,,been away since last Wednesday,to the small seaside community of Whangamata,,for the annual rock n roll festival.. small town with about 5000 population,,which swells to about 60,000 over the course of a few days..Some people spend several days before,,and probably stay a day or two after as well,,to get over it all before they head home,,some, back to the bottom of the South Island..
Here is a link to some of the pix from another site,,and will try to share some more in the coming days..
BEACH HOP THREAD... Mk2
A couple of pages of pix there.. None of our truck though,,cos the photog don't like it,,or us.. probably both..Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???

Ummm . . . yeah . . . well . . . 'da man' certainly didn't do himself any favours when the banning notices started getting dished out left right and centre.
We (Mavericks collectively,) took no retaliatory action whatsoever you will have noted.
(Apart from bgc who is a computer whizz, and analysed his statistics for him, man; I laughed about that for days!)
There's only about half a dozen of us that weren't banned; but we're still persona non grata . . . 'on notice' you might say . . .
But you're right; you'll never see our car (or any Maverick car) in anything he has a finger in!
One of our members was asked recently if they could make their vehicle available for a photo shoot . . . and was told (politely) where he could go , and what to do when he got there.
He hadn't realised that the person in question actually is Maverick!
Oops!
