John-----so that explains a couple things---
I am aware of the three you listed -one is a racer and the other two are renown for building trailer queens for check writers-------
You could do yourself a good favor by going to the NHRA, Petersen Publishing Museum, Edelbrock museum and get more a mainstream connection with hotrodding over the years. A lot of the older folks have passed, but their businesses continue with family members and a few original pepes that are getting pretty senior----a couple of the oringinals are Ed Pink and Nick Arias and Ed Iskederian?
I now live in Chicago area and would be willing to meet with contact of U of Chi and spend time with them visiting shops , race tracks, other events as a guide and host.
I will not participate on open forum or computer site that just counts numbers in a poll.
But I think all of hotrodding's history and culture could make a nice course but really wonder who in this day would even attend.
Take a look thru my gallery for a few examples

Bumped back to the top, with an observation.
If you take time to read the questions, the request is focused on your earliest recollections of becoming a car guy or gal, but even more how cars affected your high school years. The only questions that go beyond high school are #11 which asks if you grew out of your interest in cars as you got older; and #15 & 16 which ask about your schooling and adult occupation. As others have said, it's a nice trip down memory lane as you ponder the questions.Roger
