I sold the '51 Chevy today.

So, I marked the end of ownership with my first car. My 1951 Chevy Fleetline Deluxe 4dr. It was a good run 05/21/2005 ( IIRC ) - 08/13/2015, but it was time and I had not done anything with it for a couple years really.. My part time neighbors bought it last night at 9.30 at night and we finalized the deal today and they towed it off, guy is gonna restore it for his daughter. I don't think it's the right car for her, but I got what I needed out of it.. My other half is happy. we pick up a nice Pink Subaru WRX for her on monday so timing was perfect.

Pink WRX didn't happen. It was missing a lot of parts and had a screwed up title. 'owner' was sketchy too. But found a better one for her, and we brought it home today. Basically same car but lot nicer and totally stock/ not beat on. Anyway, One week ago today. since I let that old car go, but I don't feel anything for it anymore. All the funds went to the WRX so I'm out of a project for a while.

I know what being without a project feels like. Been without one for about 6 years now. Glad mama got a new ride though.
