Exhaust for 72 skylark
Hi all, so I have a Chevy 350 vortec from a 01 Tahoe that I'm fitting into my 72 skylark. I want to throw some longtube headers on it. I was wondering if if I would have to get headers for the 01 Tahoe and then fabricate it to fit the skylark, or if I would be able to buy 350 headers for a 70 chevelle as I was told 70-72 chevelles would work as a donor for the skylark.

Yep, order headers for a '72 Chevelle 350. One of the things about headers is that if you cheap out and purchase headers with a thin flange, the flange will warp from the heat and spit out the gaskets. This will happen over and over and over and over and over. Ask me how I know. Go for the gusto and buy some 16 gauge tube headers with 3/8" flange thickness and ceramic coating that will last a long time and look good doin' it....
