Thread: Uni-steer turn radius

Saw a post about installing a Jeep tie rod end to make a Uni-steer have a smaller turn radius here several months ago but I cant find it now. Does any know of a part number or a year model Jeep the tie rod end comes from and does it really work?
I belive it was a post by BIG-JIM but I cant pull him up in the Members listing.
The Uni-steer is mounted on a 32 Ford 3 window which takes 10 acres to make a turn.
I have heard others complaint about the Uni-steer but have not heard of a satisfactory repair or adjustment.
Does any one know of a fix other than a complete new change out?
