Got some pics of the street meth My favorite out of the bunch was the Studebaker
truck, It came from the Volin SD Fire Dept. I got the motor for my 53 from Volin. That truck is solid and extremely good shape. the COE wasn't too bad and the other chevy trucks are nice as well. $500 for the Chevy trucks, $2500 for the COE and for the Studebaker. The cars are in pretty bad shape, the one pic of the floor is about how they all are. The Plymouth was the only one that I didn't see a year or a price.Seth

Thanks for snapping the pics Seth.. The cab is a Model A , at least the dash is.
I never understood the appeal of the COE's, we had a couple Macks in that configuration and they were always the most awkward to operate. A friend had a gennie Ford COE, 47/8 I think. I drove it once. It felt like sitting on top of a ladder.
That's quite a line-up. Don't see them in a row like that to much anymore - not in my parts anyway.

I keep looking at the Plymouth with the suicide doors, I love it but I don't have the will to do another major project like that and I think it's a little to rough to leave it as is. I better just keep looking at it.Seth

The Plymouth is a '38.
The model A as Mike noted is a 28/9....looks to be a cut down sedan as the original p/u cabs have an extension beyond the B pillar and square corners to the back panel. That home made firewall and lack of fuel tank/cowl on the sedan would indicate some farmer repurposed that one.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Bob nailed it. I don't have any picks of the back of the cab but the back has been cut off , shortened and brazed back together. There is a metal patch brazed on the roof as well. I'll probably be running past them again this week and I can get some more pics if you like.Seth
