Early Iron Rod Run Alamosa, Colorado 2017

Excellent Club Event! Labor Day Weekend. Check out the crew cab 1951 Ford with Bonneville racers. Many details from drip rails to trailer and lost of items on racer. Also look at red chopped Chev pickup bed cover. Simple bend grabs flavor of 1959 fins.
    Good Show from good club.

Thanks for sharing. The trim on the crew cab, IIRC, screams 52 Ford passenger car.

Wow, thanks for sharing these! The fab work on the crew cab is awesome! The racer is no slouch either. Very nice! Thanks for taking the time to share these!

What is the gray car and pickup made from? I think I like it but not sure.

Added a couple more pictures to help. Grey pickup I think is a 51 Ford. I heard it was a rare 3 door when started. I have never seen information on a 3 door. Perhaps someone here knows of them. Bonneville speedster is registered as a 29 Ford. if you look at the cab part, I think you may see a resemblance, so many hand made parts and items. Threw in 3 more rods for fun. Essex was in front of us in traffic and I kept thinking it was a highly modified 32 Ford. Then it turned and the light bulb went off above my head. Similar looks but classier.
