What a great story! It's fantastic that a group who's common bond is their love of cars got together and got it done! How very cool! I'll add to the accolades, I'm proud of you for your part in making it happen! Good job, Ryan!Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Thanks everyone! When my good friend Steve told me what he wanted to do I told him I was in. I didn't get to put as much time in it as I would have liked to due to my work schedule but I helped do what ever I could. That poor car had some weird Olds type 8.2 rear in it. I found a 69 Camaro 8.2 10 bolt and that allowed us to put wider tires under it. I was able to help install the engine trans, rear end, and other small trinkets. Steve was able to get a lot of good people to donate money and give discounts on work so it really worked out well. Last Friday before the show, a man and his wife donated $5k to put towards a garage for Harry. Harry currently has no place to store the car. But we might all go over and assemble a garage kit on a weekend for him. Also, some of us are working up a plan to get Steve's 71 Cuda closer to being done. Steve is the man with the shop and the guy that did most of the work and planning for the whole firebird resto. He has a very nice shop and an awesome collection of mopars. I'll work on putting something on here about it some time.Ryan

An old saying from my Grandma, "What we do for ourselves is seldom noticed, what we do for others is never forgotten". Looks good on you and all the rest of the workers and donors, well done!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Thanks Dave! Here's a video. Sorry for the bad quality. It didn't transfer over very well. If you play it in the mini player it seems to show up fine.

I didn't get any pics, but I saw Harry driving his Firebird around at Goodguys. That was a cool feeling!
