Please help me identify this Ford T Bucket.....
My dad used to race in the 70s, as a kid he was batman and this was batmobile....
He appropriately called his Frankenstein LOCO-MOTION as my dad was a bit of both.... I want to recreate this vehicle of my dreams
Can someone help me identify this T Bucket type?

With the height of the rear of the bucket to the turtle deck I think that's a '22-'25 instead of a '27 but I may be wrong. The '27's don't have so much sweep from the door top to the back, seems to me.
Take a look at Speedway Motors. They have both '23 and '27 T-bucket kits in a dozen or more configurations. I believe their chassis kits are OK and their fiberglass parts will compare well with others too. Seems to me that one of the magazines did a build on one of the Speedway kits several years back, but I can't point you to it. Looks like their complete kits for 23's have the pickup bed instead of turtle deck, but they might swap one in for you, or there may be a turtle kit there that I didn't see. I don't think you'll do one cheaper by buying individual parts.

Yep, it looks like a 1923 - 1925 to me. It looks like he used windshield stanchions, but no glass in the windshield.Steve

I’m not 100% sure if it has a turtle deck or not. Do you have any pictures that show the back end better?Steve

I have built both in previous years; that's definitely a '22 - '25 style. The '26 - '27 has a deeper cowl area that is wider and shaped differently. Also, the '26 - '27 turtle deck is larger and has body lines that outline the rear fenders. There is probably a 99% chance that that body is a fiberglass replica, evidenced by the fact there are no hinges, hinge slots, or door handle hole in the right side door. (Model-T roadsters up through 1925 only had one door, passenger side only. Driver side did not have a functional door.) Fiberglass T bodies are available from a number of sources. Speedway Motors, Ron Pope Motorsports, California Custom Roadsters, and Spirit Cars are some reliable sources. There are others, too. Do a search for the "tbucketeers" site. It's a bunch of good folks similar to here, but devoted strictly to T roadsters.Jim
