    Anniversary Caps

Today I finally took time to remove the wheels from the '32 Roadster and swap the caps, installing the LE 50th Anniversary center caps that were issued in 2015. I decided to put them on the Roadster, as it's wearing the wheels that were awarded for the calendar cover photo that year.

    The original caps, for comparison....

While I was messing with it I decided to tweak the LF coilover to raise that corner just a bit, and found that the bushings in the Anti Sway Bar were shot, with the bar loose in the mounts. That explains the rattle I've been getting on the gravel road. Sent a note to Jason at Pete & Jakes to see if they stock them, or if I need to go to TCI. The bushings were 10 years old when I installed them, so it's not too surprising for them to be hard & dry, crumbling with pressure.

Thanks! On the caps, Let The Buyer Beware, I typed in "Cragar 50th Anniversary Caps" and got a bunch of hits, but when I looked/read learned that they made a 20th Anniversary version in 1985, and there's a bunch of NOS out there, same look but "20th" and 1985 instead of "50th" and 2015.....
