85 crew cab elky
Ive seen the start of a 4 door malibu conversioninto a crew but it was scraped. It never got finished. I wish they would have tho it was awsome. I hope you a lot of luck and make it fun. My project is A 81 GMC sprint with a 500 caddy in it. Its fast ,fun, and affordable to build.

I like the 2 door ones better. Have you done a photoshop picture to see what it will look like? If you don't have a digital camera take a photo of the side view and get several copies made then cut and paste a mockup. Would you strech the frame or shorten the bed? It makes me think of the AMC Pacer strech limo in Wayne's World. Longer doesn't mean better. I've seen a lot of old pickups streched out into a crew cab and they're interesting but not as attractive as the original truck. Do you need two more doors? How big is your crew? Don't any of them have their own transportation?" Im gone'

How about a '50 Studeamino.
Ernie Bletcher of California put this one together.
A 2 dr. Studebaker Sedan with the trunk cut off and an El Camino box welded on.

You could do the same by selecting the 4dr. car/sedan of year of the El Camino you want to build. Instant crewcab camino.

I always thought El-Caminos were kind of cool as they were. Nothing says HI! like a High-Gloss black Small truck with enough power to eat the ricers.Right engine, Wrong Wheels

Ive not been to the track yet but my toy seems ok on the street The 500 caddy in it has the heads shaved 120 thousandths,A Edelbrock intake,750 holley carb and a 270 custom grind cam.The biggest problem I got is traction. The mule just wants to eat the tires off no matter how easy you try to pull out. Hopefuly ill take it to the track soon and have some numbers for ya.
Merry Christmas ya'll
