A little before my time, I think. Or maybe, my memory is going. Anybody got a picture of McMullen's 32, that they can post?

    Take this link http://www.streetrodderweb.com/featu...sr_milestones/

You'll get lots of historical pics and the story behind the car.

I'll make my admission of guilt here Bob....... We usta' make fun of the guy with the slow '70 Cuda .... Everybody THOUGHT it was slow because the owner had no clue what was under the hood. He just washed it and drove it. Took it to the local service station whenever it needed a tune-up or oil change. Then one day I drew the short straw and raced him with my '66 GTO. He got me by a car length 2 times, so it wasn't a fluke. No one laughed at him after that.

I had a 56 Ford 2 dr hardtop with a 406 tri-power and 4 speed from a wrecked Galaxie. Ran strong. Friend of mine had a 54 Plymouth ( Savoy, I think) that he shoehorned a 413 Wedge into. A mechanic at the Ford garage in town had a black '50 Ford business coupe with the big Lincoln (don't rember the size) Flatttie with 3 Stromberg 97's.
