Sounds good, Brick. Now remember, the old rule on louvering a hood is that it has to be an odd number of louvers.......Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Mind if I butt in here??????? My Torinois currently in the block sanding stage. The 390 is on a stand in my garage waiting to be tore down in the spring. Stripped 3 coats of Excorsist Green off the Torino and was pleasently surprised to find a basically rust free car. Not a small feat for a late 60's Ford.

Merc Update
Well, getting things together on the Merc. All the wiring is ran and about 90% connected. I really like the way the smaller back window changed the look of the back of the car and cleaned up the roof line. Today I fabbed a fan shroud, got to fire up the tig and make it a one piece now, not much left under the hood except to install the senders for the gauges.....As soon as we decide for sure which gauges to put in it. Dakota Digital makes an all in one that would fit where the original speedometer went in the Merc.
Also got the front suspension rebuilt, new brake pads, turned the rotors, etc. Coming along fairly well This one next month will be taking a trip (via trailer) to a company we have been negotiating with on building the bodies.... See what they think of it and what kind of deal we can make with them... After that the car will be ready for paint and for sale. (Well, after a few test cruises it will be for sale)Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Yup, everything is glass.... Lots of steel reinforcement, some carbon fiber matting and other high strenth matting. It's a solid car, you should see the knot on my head where I walked into the deck lid yesterday!!!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

A friend of mine dropped off a set of heads & a block after I mentioned I would like to replace the foam mock up block & heads on the "Z". The foam just isn't strong enough to hold the headers solid. So, Today he shows up with a block & set of heads. Thanks to Lou & Billy for helpin' me out."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
