I feel the same way TedIII, it seems like I never have the time to work on my car as much as I like to. Where did you get your mono-leaf springs at and how long are they?
I see that alot of people are like me and trying to struggle through the winter and get something done on their cars. I have managed to get alittle work in but it isn't easy. Here is another sunny day shot of my car from the other day. Shows the licsense plate recess and the rear roll pan. I am very proud of that work simply because it's it's the first time I have done any of it. I have a long ways to go and will get back to the body work when it gets warmer."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

Those monoleafs from caltracs racing, theycost me about $258.00 a pair. I am also installing the caltracs suspension with the monoleafs. For the 67 cougar they measure 58" center to center of the eye bolt holes. And yes warmer would be nice, I put a new heating system in my garage. But not much help when you only got a roof ceiling that is thirdteen feet high. It will work 100 % better when I put a ceiling in and shoot some insulation in on top of it, so right now thats my next project. Good luck on yours.

Sorry, no Chevy's there, those are small_blocks collection of mopar A-bodys. He is getting a good collection going and is always looking for more. My newest eddition is a 1985 Dodge SWB pu with a 400 bb w/ holley on an edlebrock high rise and headers. Needs a tranny though but it will run, like you guys say, no enough funds for all my toys."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

My first milled fabrication, an adjustable dual-carb linkage. Exploded view. I still need to drill the hole for the throttle cable but I'll do that last. More pics after the weekend -- when I install this sucker and see how smart I actually am. . . .or not. . . .Dual Quad Tunnel Rammed "Are you INSANE?" 5.0L H.O. '78 Mustang II

The 46 is coming along good I got the back half out of the cutlass and put in the ford in it was a perfect fit I had to take a half inch off both sides of the frame the fuel cell is in and the fuel lines are ran and the brakes are hooked up I made the engine mounts and trans mount and stuffed the engine in also I installed a 31x19 rad. I made the core support for that I just got the wiring harness this week I plan to wire it this weekend and move onto the body so I can get the glass in I found a place here that is going to v-butt a windshild and install it for me I think I will wait till goodguy's to buy the rest of the glass there is a guy who was there last year who had a good deal on all the side glass. I have to find a rubber for the back glass so far so good . wish I had a camera to post some pic's but I don't .

Hard choice to make big489, either motor would work well in that truck.
jdhogg, I am very lucky to have a wife that loves the hobbie as much as I do and help me every way she can. The biggest help she does is just putting up with me being in the shop all the time.
Right now since it's so cold again, we are working on the interior. Both kick panels are done, one rear panel and she is working on the first door panel as we speak. I am going out to work on the center console, I am making a mock-up to fit my camaro shifter in and we are going to cover it with cloth and carpet."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"
