Reason you don't know is it looks like the mods pulled the spam. Something about some website or something, then some guy comes on, first post, and says he has used them to sell a Mercury and they are the greatest.

    Spam, spam, spam, spam.

Some of us even got PMs from them.

But, they are all gone now, thanks Mods.

The Holy Grail was as funny as it gets. The rabbit scene, the flying cow, and the surly Frenchmen were classic.

    only new to hot rodding

i am building a 1934 ford tourer, open motor hotrod, currently i have a original chasis with a mitsubishi L300 front end, salsibury 10 bolt rear end. its up and rolling with steering etc, but can anyone please offer some advice for my hotrod project,i would like to run a twin turbo 350 running straight lpg. i have heard the boost would be around 6 psi, a regular street driven car with a turbo 350 and i am thinking 3.55:1 rear end.
could anyone offer advice on some motor spec choices for crank cam heads etc...
please msg your advice opinions etc, i have posted a thread please any advice is good.

there isnt too much advice i think i could offer but i know this one works after welding alot of tanks.
run a pipe off your exhaust into the tank for approx 30 minutes.
then all is good to weld.
i wish all of the help i might need is this easy

I am thinking that with that much boost you don't want to have too high of compression, and as much air in the cylinders as you can get so maybe a bigger cam and valves with big port heads.

I am in great need of stereo wiring information, does anybody have any (or links to) wiring diagrams for CD player w/2 amp systems with single 15" subwoofer. 3 sets of other speakers, I want to also include a equilizer and DVD player eventually.

Sorry Brick, Wish I could help...

Jeff & I went on a road trip today.

We left home right at 7am. We stopped off in Channahon to letter a bobcat for a customer, then headed to Michigan. Around 9am we called the shop to make sure Steve was there. I got busy & didn't have a chance to email him til last night. We didn't want to get way up there only to find him GONE. Turns out he was there so we kept on. We saw an overturned semi in the southbound lane on 94 as we were headed north. Jeff tried to get a pic. but ended up with a nice shot of my headrest.  We took a vacation up this way many years ago. It was interesting to see what we (Jeff) remembered. We had a good time talkin' about all kinds of stuff but mostly about what we were going to do with our cars.
We got to Steve Morris' shop around 12:30 and had to wait a few minutes for Steve to return from lunch. His secretary told us to make ourselves @ home, so we roamed around the shop. I have a couple nasty bruises on my chin from when my jaw dropped.  He had his 1,800 hp 4,800 lb. Chevy Impala wagon in the shop gettin' some upgrades, a couple 2-3 gen 1 camaros, a couple newer ones, a firebird, a dune buggy and a Henry J. Pappy would be proud of this one too. They all had either pro chargers or turbos. I was so in aw I didn't even get pics. I know, my bad. Maybe next time. He's got a chassis dyno & an Engine Dyno. How cool is that?
He said he doesn't usually stock parts, but he just happened to have a pump, intercooler & ice box just the right size for the "Z". And, just like when you see a puppy @ the kennel, I just couldn't leave 'em there.
We told Steve what we wanted to do & he told us what we'd need to git-er-done. I think we have a plan now. Steve said customers usually come to the shop for the dyno pull & then load it up & take it home. Jeff & I were talkin' on the way there about how that would be a Cool Deal to V-I-D-E-O the dyno pull. We paid for the parts, bench raced for a few more minutes & then headed back. We stopped off @ Winners Circle on the way home & Jeff bought a Hurst shifter for his car. We had a little too much ground to cover to make it back to Morris before 5pm, so I called the woodworking shop & had them set a pc. of Birch out behind the shop for me. We swung by & picked it up & drove the last leg for home. As I was gluing up the birch, the neighbor stopped by to see if I had the vinyl for his stock car cut out. I did, so we walked down to his shop & lettered his car. I checked the birch a few minutes ago and still not dry.
Oh, I should explain. The birch is for a plaque for the ''weddin' couple'' this weekend. They had a logo designed & they had me print it on the runner with the large format printer. So, I figured I would cut the same Logo on the CNC out of birch. Unfortunately da' glue ain't dryin' so fast. I've still got all mornin' tomorrow, to get it cut & finished I think a couple quick coats of laquer with a splash of hot thinner should git-er-done.
Well, that's the readers digest version of how the day went. good night........

A smorgesbord of x-mas presents ntfday, I have an off brand Deck, alpine power and an off brand power amp. I have Two 10's in the package tray w/ 2 ribbon horn tweeters, a set of nice 6x9's and a set of nice 6 1/2" up front. I still need to buy the eq and the sub-woofer. I am going with 1-15" because of space issues in the trunk. Another question, do I need an EQ for both amps or can I balance it out with one off the main deck?
