I finally got to the point of firing up the engine yesterday. Man, it sure felt good to hear noise coming from those mufflers again.

Pro 60 wow that sure sounds great . So what is it 3 or 4 gallons to the mile. I do enjoy hearing those big cammed engines pulse.

To be honest, I go thru 2 1/2 gallons on every 1/4 mile pass, from start-up to shut-down, so it's more like 10 gallons to the mile.Mike Casella

I worked on the car last night till the wee hours of the early evening to get the car to this point. About another 3 hours worth of work, and it'll be done, so to speak.

Sweet sounds are about to pulse through the Neighborhood! Looking good Pro60, where is she going to run at first this year?
I am getting to put in the new goodies I bought this weekend. Nothing like a big rod run to stire the fires with-in. The car did really well, even running hard with new camaro for about 30 miles. I managed to get a big smile out of the guy seeing my old car and then he punched it and disappeared. I probly had her up over 90 and it was vibrating because of tires but pretty smooth other than that, I was very pleased. Since I changed the rear shackles and I now have functional rear suspension the car seems to lean more at speed. I am looking at some sway bars front and rear, a little shot of some of the guys and my car @ the nsra springfield event.Last edited by brickman; 05-30-2007 at 05:31 PM.

Our first outing will be at New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire this weekend, June 2nd.
We'll be driving right by RT66 on the way to Prozzzz's house in July on our way to Eddyville, Iowa, other than that one brief moment, that may be the extent of our long distance travels.
BTW, it get's loaded in the trailer tonight when I get home, then Friday we'll be off to the races!! WOOHOO!!Mike Casella
