    Happy Holiday

Well did get out there and got the skin off and getting new skin prepped . I have to do a small patch to frame in front lower no biggy but popped up after cutting off old skin . This skin is not perfect so it will require some massaging to be good .

Looks great Bobby!!!!! Some quality time with your Horse should really help!!!!! Good therapy for me all the time, anyway....

I got the last of the parts painted red that need to be red... Should be dang near ready for cruisin' once I get them installed.

Also got the engine, transmission, and transfer case taken out of the Bronco. Then I stripped a bunch of stuff out of the dash and interior... Going to put it on hold for awhile now so I can get other projects completed......

Then, just when it looked like I had a chance of getting caught up on projects I had another one follow me home this morning.... a "53 (I think) Buick 2 door hardtop.... Some other guys started on it a few years back, did some body work and set it on a Chevy frame....when they saw how much work they had left to do on it, they gave up. Another guy bought it, he owed me some money, so It came down to a take the car or get nothing deal.... I still have to go load up the rest of the body parts, they are bare metal now so I'll need to get them primed and put away.... I think the frame they have under it will work ok, but it's going to take a bit of work to get the car sitting on it correctly and bolted down. Not sure how much I'll do to it. The interior pieces are already reupholstered, have to go get them to some day. Anyway, keep this in mind when you look at the pics of the car... Worlds of potential and tons of work!!!!!!

My Rambler American is a good example of that.. 58,000 miles, it really shouldn't be as rusty as it is, but when you figure, it's been on the road every year pretty much since it was sold 11/24/64 at Victory Garage, it's easy to understand why it is like that.. but it was undercoated from the factory and thru the years, and it's still structurlally sound.. eventully I gotta fix the body tho

The Buick was all in primer. Soon as I get time to get it sitting on the frame correctly it'll go for a quick trip to the soda blaster.....

As for an engine, if I keep it that long it will have to be something unique, for sure.

That's a great body style, Dave. 50's Buicks just had a really special classiness about them. Great find!
